In the South Cascades of Washington state Mount Adams stands 12,276 ft. tall, the second tallest peak in all of Washington.
We are no stranger to Mount Adams. Some of the pack has graced the magnificent summit, while for others have only attempted.
Our plan of attack is to go EXTRA slow, sleeping 3 nights on the mountain to gain as much altitude training as we can.
Last time we attempted Adams, the weather and our time shortage denied us the accomplishment of summitting. Hopefully, by giving ourselves extra time to work around the weather, we will be able to make a full summit.
